Rules 1) Read and follow all Proboard Terms of Service (TOS) and MichNAA Rules. 2) Read individual board and thread rules before you post. Only the "Mod Q&A", "Airsoft Events", & "Classifieds" boards have these additional rules as of 3/14/13. 3) If there is already a thread about your topic then post in it. There are no rules aginst posting in old threads ("necroing"). Please use the search button at the top of the page before you make a post. 4) No Spamming. If you need clarification, then see below for more details. 5) All MichNAA rules apply to the Live-Chat feature as well. 6) Do not post images as attachments, see below for more details. That's it!

Rule 4) As of September 2012 we will be enforcing a no "spam" rule.
Spam will be defined as any-sort of unprovoked product/service sales, promotion, web-linking, or advertizing. Accounts that only make spam posts will be instantly banned and their ip blocked.
Accounts that have previously made spam posts will be informed of their infraction, by both PM and Email, and given until 9/7/2012 to compile with changes.
Exceptions to the no spam rule will be personal posts made in the classifieds sections of the site, site sections discussing local airsoft retailers, answers to questions concerning various airsoft sites/services, and links to airsoft related products. Local retailers are welcome to share information concerning their goods and services that relate to airsoft. Posts in "off-topic" boards concerning TV, Music, Firearms, etc will remain under closer mod supervision; however leniency will be given considering the nature of the topics.
UPDATE:
It's been requested that we clarify that this rule is mostly designed for people who come to MichNAA with malicious and spamming intent. Considerable exemptions will be made or warnings issued during most cases where this rule is broken or remains in a "hazzy/gray area".

Rule 5) As of September 24th 2012 we now have a Live-Chat feature. All Local Laws, Proboard policy, MichNAA policy, and Chat policy rules apply. Any user caught abusing the live-chat feature by spamming, illegal, policy-infringing, unethical, soliciting sexual favors, or other inappropriate actions will be banned from MichNAA immediately. Appeals to this ban may be made to the MichNAA admin email.

Rule 6) Effective Immediately all posts containing images cannot use the "attachment" feature to post their images. Old posts that already have image attachments do not need to remove them, however we urge all members to edit their old posts to comply with the new rule. Posting images as attachments uses more bandwidth causing complications for MichNAA. Please upload all images to a free photo sharing service such as PhotoBucket or ImageShack.
