Airsoft manufactures appear to make just about any gun model imaginable but more is never enough for some of us. Post the guns you've always wished manufactures added to their lineup.
SKS Variants
One of the most prolific weapons of the past century and no one makes a proper AEG of this. I also figured that now that its been featured in a major video game, Battlefield3, that someone would pick up on it; and yet the only airsoft SKS I've even seen is this garbage Chinese springer that retails for almost nothing:
You can purchase it here if your interested: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0AF07J1401
MG08
Come on now, the Great War surely wasn't that unpopular and lots of people would recognize the MG08; not sure if it would be useful or even sell that many, but it would sure look cool.
Muzzle Loading Airsoft Rifles
I'm going even further back in history now. Theres a large community of reenactors with lots of money to spend on this kind of stuff; sure the goggles might deduct from the line formation shooting experience but man wouldn't it be awesome. Just a simple gas gun mechanism that you drop a CO2 cartridge into the very large wooden stock and load from the muzzle with a big rod, sounds like fun right
Kalash 2012
What do you get when you cross a P90 with an AK74; yup must be time for a sifi weapon. The game Metro2033 features the Kalash2012; this gun uses the AK's barrel and gas-system however its been modified to somehow cycle 5.45mm rounds from a P90 style mag....yeah I think i'll just leave a photo and let you decide.
9A-91
A Russian compact assault rifle. Theres not enough Russian airsoft guns as the market sits, especially when it comes to the availability of pistols and compact rifle variants. The 9A-91 has been around since the 9A-91 has been around since the end of the USSR and still exists as a modern weapon, so it would fit a variety of loadouts and would have an after-market for custom furniture.
Kel-Tec KSG
So Kel-Tec is always doing the most innovative stuff with polymer bodied guns, more so than any other company these days, doesn't mean its always useful but in the case of the KSG I think so. The KSG features two cartridge tubes, a bullpup design, and looks taticool as all hell. Not exactly something I'd use, but I'm sure would be a huge hit with airsofters for the wow factor alone.
AK12
With all the taticool "enhancements" being used on the modern battlefield, some Ruskies decided they needed to "update" the AK platform for this century. Really the upgrades are negligible and its mostly end-user operation/aesthetic changes. I think an AK12 would sell and it does look cool.
So apparently the airsoft company UKarms is making low quality spring guns of some awesome real steel guns that don't have legit airsoft versions yet. I figured these kind of fit in this thread since someone was probably wishing these guns existed as airsoft replicas, so I posted two below.
UKarms AS-50 Sniper Rifle (ZX-MG50)
Kel-tec RFB .308 Bullpup Carbine (HT-P1389F)
