Yeah, no joke, the market place now features stuff from airsoft retailers; so if your ordering from them you may as well check to see if they have that oddity you've been looking for.

Last i looked their selection of AEGs weren't anything great.
But they ARE selling optics and gun-mountables, so that's worth checking out.
I've seen a few red-dot sights and flashlight mounts on there in the past.

Well as Fish had to explain to me before I made this thread, the market place is other retailers selling through newegg like what happens on amazon. So inventory is entirely related on what retailers post. I have noticed the trend seems to be low-quality and obscure internal parts, paintball related accessories and gear, and low quality spring guns. Its worth a look though because I found weird stuff like specific systema parts, version 7+8 gearbox parts, g17 gas pistol parts, and so on that were cheaper than some airsoft outlets. Their low quality gear is also very competitively priced assuming the shipping will stack with other items in your order.
