To assure that your squad gets one of the 20 slots it is suggested that you pre-pay, but it is not required. If 7 or less teams show up to play, then the tournament will be run round robin style.
Lone Wolf:
In the Lone Wolf tournament individual players fight one on one for cqc supremacy. The winner will receive either a CASH PRIZE or a new replica (exact replica TBD). Contestants for this tournament will enter and pay on site, but are encouraged to leave a post stating that they plan to.
Tournament Rules:
Uniforms: Each squad must be wearing matching uniforms, be it camouflage, jeans and t-shirts, etc.
Because of insurance restrictions, all players on the tournament are required to wear full paintball masks. If you don't have one and don't want to buy one, then you may borrow one free of cost.
Fps Limits:
Replicas shooting between 351 and 400fps will have a 20ft minimum engagement distance.
Replicas shooting 350fps and lower will have an arms length engagement distance.
Replicas shooting over 400fps are prohibited.
Ammunition:
Box mags are allowed only on support weapons, apart from that there are no mag restrictions.
Misc:
No blind firing.
Bang kills will not be in effect.
Cheating of any kind during tournament play will be dealt with harshly, and will result in the elimination of 2 players from the guilty team for that match.
Target Challenge:
The target challenge will consist of 10 targets dispersed along a set route in TCP's village section. The winner will have to take out all of the targets in the shortest amount of time. The winner of this challenge will receive either a CASH PRIZE or new replica (Exact replica TBD). Players competing will register and pay on site.
Any replica may be used to complete the challenge.
There are no mag or fps restrictions for the challenge.
You may enter the challenge even if you aren't playing in the tournament.
To avoid giving some players an unfair advantage, the challenge may only be completed once.
A target must be hit a minimum of 1 (one) time anywhere in the target area to be considered hit.
We are all very excited for this event, and we hope to see everyone out there either competing, or just watching!
